FSL held its annual CGiX User Group last week, for the first time since Covid. The half-day event took place a stones-throw away from FSL’s new office at the Wax Chandlers Hall – one of the oldest livery companies in the City of London, The Worshipful Company of Wax Chandlers’ members prepare, make and sell beeswax and beeswax products.
The event began with the company’s tax specialist Alex Ranahan sharing details of recent tax regulations. This was followed by an update on CGiX changes and future plans for our CGT calculation software from Michael Edwards. Preya Patel and Ian Robinson then spoke about some new projects in the pipeline. The attendees were also the first to be introduced to the group’s new CEO Nuno Godinho.
Clients were also able to ask questions during the Q&A session, with the team expanding on the future scope of our CGiX tax management software and new developments to come. The event also offered attendees the chance to network with other CGiX users and FSL staff.
The User Group proved to be a successful forum for discussion with feedback confirming it to be an invaluable experience. Attendees remarked that “speakers were great in terms of providing the latest updates” and acknowledged that it is “always a good idea to have a face-to-face meeting”.
FSL look forward to hosting new and existing clients at the next User Group next year.
